Apr 29, 2026Issue #3 was the best issue of the series so far. A lot of the buildup finally started to pay off, and it feels like the series is really starting to find its legs. The narrative has felt heavy at times, and now begins to feel like it’s flowing well. I can’t wait to see where this ride goes from here. Quick review of Deadly Hands of K’un-Lun #3 (NO SPOILERS):
GOOD
- Karnak makes a brief appearance and delivers in his fight scene; wish he was in the story more, though
- Danny Rand starts getting more involved, woohoo! We'll see more of him in issue 4, for sure
- Pei gets her own storyline and continues to develop; her fight scene is so good!
- Pei seems to uncover what powers the War Fists, just as the solicitations said
- White Tiger shows new abilities, which is a nice upgrade for her role; glad to see her getting a major part in the story
- We're getting to know Lin Lie as an Iron Fist more and more, how he thinks and what makes him a hero
- Lin Lie and Pei having separate battles gives both charact more+ Like • Comment -
