Summary: Dead orphans are laid out to spell "Lastlaugh". Dreadstar is assigned to track down an associate of Lord Lastlaugh, Lasslo. Dreadstar finds him in a bar frequented by his alcoholic teammate, Ultraviolet. Lasslo holds Ultraviolet at gunpoint in an attempt to make good his escape rather than talk about Lastlaugh.
