Red Hulk haters take note - the character is far from the weak link in this issue. If it weren't for some lousy dialogue and the continuously loopy shipping schedule of Fall of the Hulks, this could easily rank as one of Marvel's better books this week. I expect the latter problem will iron itself out sooner or later, but it remains to be seen if Parker can find a better handle on A-Bomb and the other weaker characters in this series. I have a story with this particular comic! My english teacher from school bought it for me in one of his travels or something like that. He kinda liked how I dig into comics, we talked about Marvel many times, so he decided to make me a gift, just like that. He was a cool guy, but maybe too cool for us to be like a real teacher. You know, this stuff about young teachers and how they tend to talk with the students like friends and equals... No discipline in class on their lessons. But let's get back to the comic...

Back then I simply couldn't read it in english! I was in 7th or 8th grade. It was waaaay too hard for me. Like, actually really hard! And in addition to that, it's a part of event and I read only issues 1-6 from the Hulk (2008) at that point from that Hulk period of all series, so I really couldn't get anything there, even if I could read it. But still, it was cool to have at least one original US comic book in my collection. And now I could read it with ease! Finally! After all these years... It feels just great, you feel how you grow physically and intellectually... Another gestalt is closed now.

So, about this comic... I love how it's connected with the first volume of the Eternals! I'm happy that I read it not that long ago. This comic gives more sense to that Kirby's story, now it's revealed, that this robot Hulk wasn't built by those students. Also good artist! It's weird that he has not that many works in comics. more
