There's something about David's writing in this series that just kind of rubs me the wrong way. It's never bad but does often feel tacky and silly. Still, David at least gives service to a few of the character moments I liked from the Heroes Reborn era, like the bond between Doom, Tony, Reed, and Banner from their college days as the "Atomic Knights" of genius students.
The art might be the best in the four part miniseries in this issue. We get a little moment where Thor is turned into a frog and it looks simply glorious. I still found it a little off at times but this was a decent send-off to the Heroes Reborn era... I guess.+ Like • Comment -
