Comics Bulletin - Ray Tate Jun 13, 2008

If I have one quibble, it's that Marvel overcharges for the book. There's no reason why they had to up the price a buck. Reprints, if unadvertised, should be free. While I would say that Hulk: Raging Thunder is worth two-ninety-nine, I can't say that it's worth another dollar. Maybe had Marvel added some Colleen Coover Thundra cartoons. Read Full Review

Comic Book Resources - Doug Zawisza Jun 10, 2008

This oversized comic clocks in at a mere 49 cents more than the book I reviewed last week, but it certainly seemed to have a lot more value to it. The lead story is a solid read, worthy of a spot in the regular Hulk book (but is there a regular Hulk book any more?). It's not every week that you can buy a book with two full-length summertime stories including a classic by industry legends, but it certainly should be. I wouldn't mind seeing more of this type of offering. This one weighs in as a champ in my reading pile this week. Read Full Review

Nice one shot. The art is pretty cheap, as well as the story, but it is an important comic if you want to know who is that Lyra. Plus I didn't really know the character of Hulk's and Thundra's relationships before. Yeah, pregnancy after a kiss feels weird, but future fem-world makes no sense as well... So, why not.
