Bruce goes to Mexico City, accompanied by Kate Waynesboro, to build a gammascope to increase the country's food supply. They attend a performance of the Circus of Crime in a small town. Banner is recognized as the alter ego of the Hulk due to their first meeting long ago. Ringmaster hypnotizes Banner into turning into the Hulk to humiliate him. However, he loses his control of Dragon Man, & the two begin to fight. During the melee, Kate fires Cannonball into the Ringmaster, knocking off his hat, which Dragon Man stomps on. No longer being controlled, Dragon Man flies away, while the Hulk is dejected at having become a monster again. (Cover date: February, 1984)
