HEART OF THE MONSTER Continues! Will Bruce Banner become a man literally torn apart by desire? An actual wishing well continues to wreak havoc as the Hulk and his compatriots' deepest, darkest wishes all come true. But what happens when the desires of Team Hulk begin to clash, much less the desires of the Hulk against Banner's? After all the titanic beatings, sensational smashing and... questionable romantic liaisons, will there be anyone left standing after everyone gets everything they've ever wanted?

So Pak's run comes to an end with the next issue. Will it turn out that Betty's wish was to separate Bruce Banner from the Hulk, and that's what will set up Jason Aaron and Marc Silvestri's run starting with the new Incredible Hulk #1? Sounds like a plan, but with how crazy unpredictable Pak's swan song has been, it's better not to venture a guess at all. Read Full Review

Pak's run will go down among the best in the history of this character. The last arc may not be for everyone but it has a lot in it that is fun and fresh. There's magic, strength, flying dragons, some humor and femme fatales. It seems like this book is going to once again call on the Hulk to be the hero but it may not be clear as to how, just yet. The ending to this issue is curious indeed, as it leaves plenty of questions dangling that I expect to be wrapped up in the final issue, hitting in a couple of weeks. Whether or not this story plays into where Jason Aaron and Marc Silvestri's Incredible Hulk #1 picks up this fall remains to be seen. Read Full Review
