While I hate to see Aaron wrap up yet another great run on yet another great Marvel Comics character, I can look back and savor this series and run for as long as it lasted. At least we got a Jason Aaron Hulk. We might not have, and comics would have been worse for it. Read Full Review
This issue was clever, funny, and ridiculously quirky. It was an issue that was true to form for Jason Aaron and it is a good example of what he can do when his script goes ‘right'. While Palo and Martin are unable to deliver a superstar quality performance, their cartoon-style allows the reader to feel at home. If you're wondering if you should get this issue before jumping ontoIndestructible Hulk, the answer is no. This is the final issue of the Hulk United story arc, so either pick up the arc as a whole, or start fresh when Waid and Yu take over next month. Read Full Review
The issue itself doesn't disappoint, but I do wish that Aaron was given a longer run on this series, as he'd be sure to introduce a lot of interesting elements to the character's mythos. Well, at least in the end we got a monkey slinging gamma irradiated poo. Read Full Review
A bold experiment, then, but one which wasn't as successful as it could have been. Not so much "Incredible Hulk" as "Unconventional Hulk". Whether you enjoyed it or not, it's safe to say that it was time to wrap it up. It's just a shame that didn't happen more definitively. Read Full Review
