    That blunder aside, the story has some cheesy dialogue here and there, but John Carter proves to be a likable character. The settings are creative, the plot moves at an adequate pace, and the core values of the source material by Edgar Rice Burroughs are embraced. Read Full Review

    This is a pretty sharp stylistic departure from all that has come before. I think Marvel is taking a risk, and I'm not sure it is going to pay off. Right now, I can't recommend buying it, but if you want a taste of something different, this might be your thing. Read Full Review
