No matter how powerful you are, how heroic you are, or how beloved you are, you still have to pay taxes. And when the IRS comes knocking on the door to Avengers Tower, it causes all sorts of problems. Luckily, the Avengers can avoid the problematic filing of their real names by helping the IRS collect back taxes on a few deadbeats. Unfortunately, those deadbeats include Bullseye, Man-Bull, the Absorbing Man, Whirlwind, and a certain highly-successful web-designer named Oog, and these guys DON'T want to pay! Action! Adventure! Taxes?

Apart from the art, there's certainly some hilarity in Tobin's dialogue for Iron Man: "No one's above the law. Not you! Not me! Not even the President!" My, oh, my, this Iron Man is the antithesis of the Iron Douche from continuity. The conversation between Spidey and a monster is well reasoned and comedic, and I took an amazing amount of satisfaction from the scene in which the big bad Bullseye gets taken down about a million pegs by the Hulk. In the end though, the premise to Marvel Adventures: Avengers is just stupid and suitable only for the truly faithful fans of these characters. Read Full Review

It's funny to see Oog here. That's a very famous and important character with 3 appearances! And the last two were in Monsters Unleashed, which is... well... such a chaotic comic.

Well, this whole comic exists only to show kids how it's important to pay taxes. Like even heroes and villains do that! Oh my God, what a dumb shit... It's like someone told them to put this message in the comic and actually make it a story and they made this... Nah, definitely one of the worst Marvel Adventures Avengers comics.
