THE SAND AND FURY: It's 1942 and Sgt. Fury and his Howling Commandos are on leave in London. No, wait, it's 2009 and the Avengers are shooing away a pterodactyl from the Tower of London. But, hold on, what's a pterodactyl doing in London anyway? Geez, never mind, because now it looks like it's about 4000 BC, and Sgt. Fury and his Howling Commandos are teaming up with the Avengers in order to take down a madman with a rather personal take on time.

    Tigra fans cannot pass up this issue of Marvel Adventures Avengers. Those simply interested in a good stand alone adventure involving recognizable heroes dealing with the ramifications of time travel will enjoy it as well. Read Full Review

    This comic did wrong everything it could... I can't find anything to like here... Howling Commandos are chairs. Remove them from the story and you won't lose anything. This story is chaotic on the level where it gets boring, surprisingly. I mean, so many different things are happening here so it's just not interesting at all. The villains are generic shit as well. I don't know, even the art is just okay. For a childish comic, but that's it. Time travel stories might be interesting, but this is not one of them. Random crap.

    The concept of the Avengers doesn't even work here. They reduced the team roster and even so the used characters are not even necessary. And I remember how this series began and how every character was importan more
