Well, it's the retelling of Amazing Fantasy #15. Yet it still feels kinda rushed. But hey, this whole new series was targeted on kids. And when I was a kid I really enjoyed this series. However, never read this exact issue before. It's a nice adaptation of his classic origin. Kinda a combination of Amazing Fantasy #15 and his origin from Ultimate Spider-Man.
I think, the purpose of this series was mostly the same as it was for Ultimate Spider-Man: create new "clean" Spider-Man comic series to attract more new fans. But if USM was more mature, than this series is for kids. Yeah, reasonable.
P.S. Patrick Scherberger is a cool artist. I like his style. It's really arguable, but at least works for me.
