(Cover Date: January, 1969) Summary: Charlie-27 returns to Jupiter to find that his people have been enslaved by the Badoon. He escapes by teleporting to Pluto, where he meets Martinex, who helps him escape from the Badoon chasing him. Charlie-27 & Martinex then teleport to Earth. On Earth, Vance Astro & Yondu are being held before Supreme Commander Drang. Drang has a memory probe placed on Astro's head to learn his tragic story. When Drang orders Astro to kill Yondu, Yondu uses his control of the Yaka arrow against the Badoon to escape. They meet Charlie-27 & Martinex at the tele-port & get into a fight. The group unites to take down the Badoon pursuing them. The group then teleports off Earth to New New York to escape.
