Daniel Steyr, owner of a security company, wants Spidey's webbing formula to use in making bulletproof body armor for policemen. He uses a sham demonstration involving Wonder Man, who is working for him, to attract Spidey & then has him be captured by the Mauler. Wonder Man, realizing he's been used by Steyr, goes to locate & rescue Spidey. (Cover date: December, 1983)
