After Spidey & Marrina are taken captive by the Collector, Alpha Flight responds to Marrina's distress signal. In the process of trying to free Spidey & Marrina & avoiding capture themselves, they damage the Collector's spaceship, forcing the Collector to abandon his prizes. They allow the Collector to repair his ship & depart since his menagerie contains different Plodex from across the stars that the heroes didn't want released on Earth, otherwise mankind would be exterminated.
