The end result is a bunch of monsters, lots of blood, some double-crossing and a comic that just tries to have fun with the absurd concepts encouraged by the premise behind "Secret Wars." "Mrs. Deadpool and the Howling Commandos" #1 is everything readers have come to expect from the Gerry Duggan Deadpool experience, with the added bonus of more monsters and a high adventure quest. Gerry Duggan has maybe done the best and most consistent work on Deadpool since Joe Kelly's legendary run in the late 90s. Unfortunately, this issue has none of the character or charm of his ongoing series. Read Full Review
