The original heroes for hire becomes the Heroes for...Non-Profit? Danny Rand, Immortal Iron Fist, joins forces with the new Power Man! Can this new duo of heroes clean up the streets or will they fall apart at the seams?
For a first issue, this comic puts everything in it. The rest of the series will need to capitalize, but for now we've been served a very well put together introduction. You'll laugh in this comic, for sure, but you should also be thinking. Van Lente balances the script to keep you entertained but on task. This comic really feels like the old "Power Man and Iron Fist" series and that's a compliment of the highest order. I wasn't sure either was possible, but I now like Alvarez and I'm sold on this mini. I'm not done with Power Man and Iron Fist. I plan to give next month's installment a read and see if it changes my mind about the series and the characters found within. But judging from the first issue, Power Man and Iron Fist isn't the Batman and Robin of the Marvel Universe that I had hoped it would be. Read Full Review
