(Cover Date: January, 1988) Summary: After both kids have acted irresponsibly due to being bored, Katie & Franklin see Madcap on TV & seek him out to take them on an adventure. Of course, Madcap acts zany the whole time. Their adventure ends when they stop Madcap from interferring in a botched bank robbery to avoid a shootout & help the police capture the robbers. After being around Madcap, the two kids have learned a lesson about how to act responsibly. Comments: The scene on the cover does not take place in the story.
