Summary: SS reads a newspaper about the threat of the Doomsday Man. He recalls seeing a concrete bunker being built on a remote Pacific island. Dr. Kronton tells some UN ambassadors about the origin of the Doomsday Man robot. It was transported to the bunker after its invincibility was realized. The robot is believed to be active due to an earthquake. SS takes Dr. Kronton to the island, where they enter the bunker. SS is attacked by the Doomsday Man. It grabs a cobalt bomb stored in the bunker & jets undersea to San Francisco. A skeptical SS gets Kronton to admit that he planned it all in order extort money from the world. SS gets the robot to release the bomb. He creates a deep hole under the robot. Before falling, the robot kills Kronton when he rushes toard him. SS then harmlessly detonates the cobalt bomb in space. The onlookers think that SS let Kronton be killed. more
