Summary: Mantis has nursed SS back to health after his battle with the Runner. SS tells her how he became involved with the Elders. Mantis tells SS of her background & how she fed him information about the Elders on Panamint. On Kree-Lar, the Kree Supreme Intelligence deduces from reports that the Skrulls have lost their shape-changing power. In the Andromeda Galaxy, the Skrull ruler is informed of the suicide of the ambassador & crew (last issue). A Celestial is seen standing over the city. SS & Mantis fly to the living planet Ego where the Elders are meeting. Grandmaster tells the others that they are now immortal since they are barred from Death's realm. Grandmaster tells them that Galactus must die in the next phase of their plan. SS & Mantis are detected by Ego. SS escapes from Ego's tentacles then rescues Mantis from the grasp of the Champion. They escape back into space. more
