Summary: The Obliterator has followed SS & Mantis & attacks them in space. SS drives the Obliterator into a planet, & the two escape. The Skrull king, Kylor, tries to talk with the Celestial standing on his world. He recounts how the Celestials' gene experiments in the past lead to the creation of the Skrulls & Dire Wraiths. The Skrulls attack the Celestial but to no effect. SS & Mantis land on a plantworld. Mantis expresses her feelings for SS & tries to convince him to feel the same. The Obliterator strikes from above, & Mantis engages in combat with him. The Obliterator disintegrates Mantis. A Kree spy lands on the Skrull planet to confirm that they have lost their shape-changing power but is soon detected
& captured. SS fights against the Obliterator & wins by making his weapons useless. No longer having a purpose, the Obliterator wants to die but cannot due to the Grandmaster beating Death. Mantis reappears, having transferred her life essence to the plantlife & creating a new body. Based on the information extracted from the Kree spy, the Skrulls are sending an armada to attack the Kree first. more
