The Super Powered Fancast - Deron Generally
Jan 21, 2026DeMatteis brings this story to a thrilling, entertaining conclusion. There is great action and I love that the story has the feel and progression of an episode of the animated series it is based on. The story does a great job of evolving this version of Spider-Man as well as his conflict with Kraven and I really enjoyed seeing a resolution to the series that focuses on the characters and their progression. Idea - great, I wanted closure on this series. Success of execution? Debatable. The character voices were good, but the story itself didn't sit amazingly with me. And again, we had a template for the art, years of the show, and it's not what we got.
