Spider-Man & The X-Men #2

I still can't say that I'm too much a fan for the current pacing of the series as this issue's conclusion immediately segues into the next "event," but if Kalan and team can find their sweet par tin pacing, narrative, and dialogue, then this series could shape up to be a damn fine read. Still, the book is fun to read and definitely offers another side to the world of superheroes, so while the book may not shed new light on its characters, it at least offers the readers a welcome opportunity to laugh a lot. Read Full Review

While not all bad, this issue is certainly not all good. Great comedy moments involving decent enough character is, surrounded by a lot of fluff and circumstance. Continuity problems bog the story down as does the nonsensical and slapstick problem solving. Read Full Review
