It's actually a nice book for an ultimate universe. And these characters are original... However, I really see some Batman vibe and maybe even Big Daddy and Hit-Girl could be inspired by something like Batman and Robin. I wonder why Marvel forgot about them after this series, but maybe the answer is up ahead.
