Regardless of what you think of the Ultimatum event (more on that later), Bendis worked with what he was given and delivers up a fantastic story that works. Ultimatum: Spider-Man: Requiem is a perfect closing chapter to Ultimate Spider-Man in this incarnation. What will happen when Ultimate Comics Spider-Man kicks off? I have no idea, but for now, Ultimatum: Spider-Man: Requiem #2 works and earns 4 out of 5 Stars. Read Full Review

Ultimatum Spider-Man Requiem #2 was a good ending for Ultimate Spider-Man. Still, it feels that there was a lot of lost potential with this issue as it does not feel like the proper ending this series deserves. The one thing I felt was missing most from this issue was the typical supporting cast. That's the emotional reaction/response I wanted to see, but it was nowhere to be found. Thankfully, Bendis at least didn't drag out the "is he dead or not?" towards the end of this issue, since that makes the purchase of this issue not completely unnecessary. I would recommend just waiting until the August reboot and skip this, but your mileage and Spidey fanaticism may vary. Read Full Review
