Summary: Madelyne uses her Phoenix force to slaughter her psychic interrogators. Wolverine, Rogue & the genegineer's son, Phillip, are captured at the mutant internment camp. The rest of the X-Men break them & Madelyne out of the Magistrates' citadel. Phillip, opposed to how Genosha treats its mutants, leaves with the X-Men to campaign against the Genoshan government externally.
