The X-Men must go to a remote Bavarian village to defeat Lucifer, an old foe of Professor Xavier’s. When the X-Men touch down they discover that the Avengers are already on the case. With two super-powered teams in conflict, this issue gets heated and explosive!
A fun, lively and jaunty story that had me laughing out loud in a few places coupled with some seriously badass art. Why can't we have Asmus and Bradshaw do monthly Uncanny and just dial back the detail on the a little bit (to make it work for a monthly book)? Read Full Review
As much as I hate to leave a story unfinished, this wasn't enough that I want to read more, and that means I'm left with a third of a story I'll never read the end of. I can see the value in Marvel trying to encourage people to pick up more annuals, but as a reader I have to admit that it's make me more wary of buying into this kind of cross-annual story in the future.
