It's great to see a character like Ghost Rider take center stage after having had her series canceled, and she is really the star of this issue. This is especially evident in the final pages of the book -- she's pretty fierce. The idea of pitting this particular group of characters against their antitheses is kind of perfect, too. This is proving to be a really fun mini-series and I am definitely looking forward to issue 13.2 next Wednesday. Read Full Review

Still, for a story that has no natural connection to any of these characters beyond Ghost Rider, it's working out remarkably well. I haven't liked the new Bad-Ass Ghost Rider from the start, and apparently I wasn't alone, as it was canceled after a piddly amount of issues. So naturally that makes her the main focus of this issue. Makes sense to me! Overall, even my annoyance with Bad-Ass Ghost Rider getting top billing couldn't hurt this story too much, as it's a solid story, with a solid villain, regardless of who's writing it.
