It's important to note that issue #2 feels much more like an X-Men book than #1 did. The prior installment busied itself with hellish entities seated on their thrones of skulls cackling into the mists of Limbo, while this issue actually, you know... features the X-Men. If you were initially put off from the series, thinking it'd be a magical fantasy book with guest cameos by Pixie, Colossus, and Wolverine, check this issue out to see if it's more to your tastes. Hopefully this series will restore Illyana to the X-titles, rather than leaving her in Limbo for another couple of decades. She deserves better, and so do we. Read Full Review
This might be sad, but perhaps the greatest thing about this series is the fact that it's not a crossover. It could have been very easy for Marvel to decide to do another crossover, a way of nodding towards the original Inferno. I'm so glad that they kept this relatively small and self-contained.
