I'm tempted to say avoid this issue, but there is promise for this event and I'm still going to pick up the XForce issues and varous oneshots related to it, but as a oneshot issue to kick off the event, this really did nothing for me and didn't sell me on a single storyline from the other titles. "X-Necrosha" #1 is a good way to kick off this crossover. It's a shame the lead story isn't up to par with its supporting members, but hopefully now that the exposition and set-up is out of the way, they can hit the ground running with the next issue of "X-Force." I'm assuming that the purpose of this issue is to set up major story beats for the crossover, but the stories do very little to setup anything, so this is certainly not required reading. This issue should come with a disclaimer for casual readers warning them that they may get lost, though the biggest offense is still the very shoddy art. Read Full Review
