The Sixth Gun is the first comic I ever read by Cullen Bunn. I have picked up everything he has written since and he never disappoints. Issue #41 of the The Sixth Gun is a perfect example of how rich and intricate his storytelling can be and the main reason it's one of the few comic books I read four or five times in a row. Tyler Crooks artwork is efficient. Its clean enough and simple. Yet, it conveys all the right emotions in a few strokes. The details and background may be minimal but they support the characters in the foreground well. The inks are also clean. The colours are doll but thats on purpose. The story told is not bright and joyful. So the tones support the mood of the story well. Im curious about this series now and will seek more. Read Full Review
