BANSHEES #1 is a promising start to a modern horror tale about a troubled freshman who starts her college year in a dorm with a history of gruesome murders. I hate to be so negative but this comic feels so damn soulless. The art is passable but too kiddie for a horror comic and not at all scary. The writing is awful, it’s just not how people talk to each other or in general. With so many great horror comics out currently, stay far away from this one.
