Our begrudging traveling companions are on the hunt for the creature that escaped Barrow's axe, but their plans are upended when the trail goes cold in a small town that's seemingly unaffected by the beast's influence. I reckon things are bound to get strange for Ari and Barrow in this frenetic finale!
GRIT #3 takes the story of the old dog being shown up by the young upstart and gives it a fresh coat of paint. The writing has plenty of rise and fall to keep the reader engaged, and the stylized artwork marries to the story perfectly. Strong series so far from Scout. Read Full Review
Grit #3 was a good issue and a pretty solid ending to the series. But I am a bit torn with the series as a whole. On one hand, I really just like the feel and tone of it. The setting, Old Man Barrow, Ari the Witch are all wonderfully done. It was a fun three-issue romp and I want more. But at the same time, the story itself told in these three issues really didn't knock my socks off. It was okay, but felt like it needed more breathing room. Read Full Review
