Riley Rossmo's art seems to have improved, at least. Rossmo hasn't necessarily stuck to a rigid style anyway, but here he seems to have a greater stylistic shift than usual. The rough, sketchy quality is diminished. In its place are bolder lines and a more refined sense of page design. Even the color washes are richer and more pronounced. These changes are all for the better, as far as I'm concerned. Cowboy Ninja Viking manages to retain its subversive tone while also telling a more coherent visual story. Read Full Review
