Comic Bastards - Dustin Cabeal
Sep 11, 2013As I said, I enjoy all three of these stories and the fact that they all share one home. This anthology is very diverse and no two stories are even remotely similar. Because of that you have a solid reading experience that delivers a little bit of everything from action to comedy or just the strange. If you enjoy anthologies this is a no-brainer to pick up, but if you're just looking for a something different to read then pick it up as well. Read Full Review

Sep 20, 2013All in all, I'm very impressed as to how the series is developing. Now that the worlds have been set up, it feels like theres a increased sense of confidence in the writing style. This was the first month since I started reading A1 that its been a close call as to which was the better story of the anthology. Overall, if you had to get just one, I would still say Carpe Diem because self contained chunks of madness are my personal preference. But in the long run? I think Odyssey and Weirding Willows have the potential to reward those readers that stick with their stories. Read Full Review
