Torue is a young bard looking to make a name for herself, when she encounters the monster hunter Ran at a sleepy village. Ran is a 'child of impurity' capable of slaying monsters called Karma; taking their evil into himself so it doesn't pollute the world. Ran is feared and shunned, but always puts his own life on the line to do good, so Torue decides to write a poem about him...
I really enjoyed this book alot more than I thought I originally would, it took me by surprise but most definitely in a good way. A blend of light hearted tale of discovery and action-packed hack and slash quest gave me a reading experience like no other. I would definitely recommend adding this to your collection, although this is available in both physical and digital I would recommend you pick up a physical copy as the artwork is definitely to be enjoyed in a physical form.
