The drama continues for Ragnar, Lagertha, Rollo, and Floki as they find themselves caught up in a morass of betrayals, intrigue, and politics that could ultimately be their downfall. With their thoughts on the battles in front of them, events back home in Kattegut suggest the old world has more say in their fates than they thought!
Issue #2 lays out the motivations of our characters and what is ultimately driving everyone: the desire to save their people. I enjoyed how we switched between Kattegat and England with the plot continuing to flow smoothly. Read Full Review
With Vikings #2 things are starting to pick up for the book compared to how it begun. Vikings #1 was a nice introduction, but the second issue is where this really starts to branch off to become its own thing. Nothing significant like character deaths you may look forward to, or feel shock for, though for everything else there is still now an element of surprise which holds up interest in this world-building.
