As for the art, Daniel Bayliss' work is simply beautiful and unique. He goes for hyper expressivity with his characters. How he draws lips, how he portray the violence, the movements along with the expressions" All seem to put forward more hyperbolized emotions and reactions for Batman and Joker. This works great, considering the latter parts with the more emotional moments, where the past and the present merge together in a memorable moment. The ambiguity in the motivations and veracity of what is happening is also greatly represented on the pages, with the panels filled with enough space that it never retracts from the characters' interactions and the reader's search of additional meanings. Something else that is particularly memorable is the panel layout and the visual pacing, with the story moving forward at a great pace, never hurting the script and dialogue.
