Clouds of Sils Marie is the type of film that explores the depths of human frailty, with Binoche coming to terms with the new cinema layout where Superhero movies make overnight stars of everyone involved. The main story is the relationship between Binoche and Stewart, and these play well against one another. With Stewart almost stepping over the line of her normal job as P.A. Being the Daughter that Binoche never had, pushing the ageing actress to do more with her talent, she finds herself not understanding the process as well as she thought. The beautiful and inspiring Alps provide us with some majestic background to the drama. It's not going to be every-ones cup of tea, but there is enough acting talent on display that it will sate your hunger, coming in to the over the top summer movie season.
