    The story may not be the most original around, with similarities to the Wake and The Mummy: Tomb Of The Dragon Emperor but it is still highly entertaining. There is very little time given to character development because of the amount of action in the book. I am sure over the next few issue the characters will be fleshed out and we will find more about their motivations. Holdens art on the book is fantastic. Holden creates a lot of atmosphere and tense foreboding in scenes creating an anticipation for what is coming next, which is something that is missing from a lot of art these days, where artists just want to throw details at you. Even though the story might not be the most original, Rennie does a great job using these and creating what looks like being a great monster hunter story. The amount of action in this book is more than some books use in a whole series and makes the book a frantic read from start to finish.
