This story was essentially used to reintroduce the Shadow to readers since Denny O'Neil was set to write a series later that year. But with that said this was still a great comic book. What really stood to me in this issue was how O'Neil portrayed the Batman character. Batman expressed his confidence even arrogance in ways that is very uncharacteristic in the way Batman is portrayed today. I also enjoyed how this story reads as a detective comic. Following the clues along with Batman and trying to crack the case was such an enjoyable read. If you happen to come across this book, I would suggest picking it up. It's another great story by the Den himself. I give it a 10/10. Read Full Review
