  So, it's a pretty good start. I look forward to seeing more from this series. I have to say that Barrows has been particularly good at taking classic ideas and knowing exactly what to focus on to build solid stories. I can certainly say he knows what I like which reminds me, did I mention there's even a monster-like character who shows up at the end?   Final word: When this baby comes out in June, check it out. Look up more online and pre-order the dang thing. If your local shops aren't carrying it, special order it. I know, I'm really pushing it on you here, but not without good reason. If this title does well, it stands to reason that more issues will be made. And, damn it, I want to read more Jack Hammer!   Overall, my opinion of this is positive, I just wish they had cleaned up a few things before putting it out, because then it might really have shined. It's still worth a look, though, especially if you're into old detective stories with dames and gangsters. It's a very cool take on that theme, just in the modern world and with modern concerns. And I'd definitely watch for more from that team who did it. There's a lot of potential there. Read Full Review
