  Mass Effect: Foundation is a must have if you're a fan of the series. Mac Walters' writing expands on the pasts of some of the series' best characters and shows you sides that you might not have known these characters had. The art of Tony Parker and Omar Francia beautifully compliments the story with its gritty color scheme and strong lines that make the characters pop right out of the page. You would be hard pressed to find anything wrong withMass Effect: Foundation especially if you're a fan of the games. It will be interesting to see what classic characters volume 2 will focus on and what these stories will tell about your favorite soldiers. With reports circulating on the nextMass Effect game and just what it will be about, look to Dark Horse to ease the anticipation and give you yourMass Effect fix.
