  Comic Bastards - Dustin Cabeal

  The balance between the story and art for this comic book is astounding. Moore and Jackson are so in sync on this series that everything they do is magical. I know that’s like the lamest thing to say, but the mixtures of emotions and experiences that just this issue provides is unlike any other comic I’ve ever read. They utilize the medium as much as they possibly can and they’re just two guys. I read dozens of comics each week that have teams of editors, multiple artists, colorists, inkers, letterers, cover artists and an entire corporation backing the product that don’t push the medium forward a sliver of what this comic does. This is probably one of the most enjoyable comics I have ever read. If you truly love the medium of comic books then you’ll pick this series up. Read Full Review
