Just like last month, our heroes find themselves in over their heads, confronting the evil Artemis Zogg, who eventually ships Ratchet and Clank off to prison. It's here, in the Vartax Detention Center, that the bulk of this issue takes place. In a sense this issue feels a bit unnecessary, but it retains the energetic pacing and reasonably amusing humor that made the first issue a strong opener. The strong personalities of Ratchet and Clank play well off of the various characters they run across, no matter how brief. Again, the comedy could probably be amped up, and the expressiveness of the characters could use some work, but it's tough to find anything substantial to complain about here. A solid comic book for a great videogame franchise - quite honestly, given how some of these spin-offs work, we're quite glad to see such a capable and entertaining product. Read Full Review
