Fans of Jeff Lemire's artwork on Sweet Tooth will find this book to offer a comfortably similar visual style. It's a sketchier style with loose, expressive figures. Kindt doesn't have the same elegance to his work or quite as fluid a grasp on storytelling as Lemire does, but it's good looking stuff all the same. The weakest quality of the book is merely that Sam is never a wholly engaging or sympathetic figure. He's a bit too morose and self-loathing, and his journey of self-discovery doesn't quite reach a fulfilling end. There are undeniable flaws to be had in Revolver, yet the book should have something to offer those who like singular stories with strong concepts. Read Full Review
