Despite a few drawbacks, this series achieves something that the vast majority of comics these days just can’t: originality. Being unique in this industry is really hard, because it’s nearly all been done. For the Bowmans to create something genuinely all their own is both impressive and entertaining. A lot happened in just the first issue, so we have a lot to look forward to in subsequent issues. Hopefully the pacing will slow down enough for us to invest our attention and emotion in the characters but, for now, I’ll say if you’re into more film/video game type of dialogue and comics, this is definitely for you. In summation, I wasn't a huge fan of this book. Perhaps the creators can view it as a learning experience because there's definitely some talent involved here, but it wasn't utilized effectively. Read Full Review
