  The story itself is a decent one with suitable artwork and it would function well as a non-Holmes adventure but by using the Sherlock Holmes title it sets expectations a little higher then it manages to reach. There is nothing wrong with re-imagining the characters but this comic stays close enough to the original stories that it ultimately feels like a pale version of the characters we are well versed with.
