Comic Book Bin - Andy Frisk May 5, 2010

Soon new creative teams will take over Action Comics and Superman respectively. Fortunately, Gates and Igle will remain on Supergirl. The creative teams lined up for Action Comics (Paul Cornell and Pete Woods) and Superman (J. Michael Straczynski and Eddy Barrows) arent too shabby though, so hopefully the Superman Family of books will remain must reads. They certainly have been over the course of New Kryptons existence. The Comic Addiction - Aziz Bawany May 9, 2010

I didn’t know what to expect with this story because the idea of a 100 minute war makes the story feel much shorter than the issue actually is. In some ways, these issues almost negate the whole year’s worth of stories due to its proper execution. If you’re following the Superman franchise it’s a great time to be reading these books, especially with new chapters coming out every week. Definitely give this a try if you need a superhero fix. James Robinson and Sterling Gates should get plenty of credit for ratcheting up the stakes in the Superman universe. Hopefully they can keep the ball rolling and adeptly balance the plethora of characters for the remaining three issues. Read Full Review

DC has me pumped up for the rest of the series over the next three weeks. Pick it up. It looks like a good ride for only $2.99 a book. Read Full Review
