  All in all, this is another really well-done TMNT comic, and I look forward to the fourth and final of this series, focusing on Leonardo. Though you'll certainly benefit from knowledge of the current IDW TMNT comics' continuity, on the whole you really don't need to know anything but the basics. If you're familiar with the Ninja Turtles, this is a Donatello story, plain 'n simple, and is highly enjoyable on its own. If you're following the ongoing series, this is well worth getting for the additional character time and overall world-building. If you're interested just in Donatello, this is well worth the read, even if you've not read the ongoing series or the previous two issues of this micro-series. Read Full Review
